CHRISTMAS IN COTTER: A SMALL-TOWN HOLIDAY STORY
This season in Cotter, the magic of Big Spring Park needs a new hero. With the town's beloved Christmas Light Lead Elf retiring, a heartfelt search begins for someone--maybe you and yours--to keep the tradition glowing into 2026.
The blueprint is ready. The lights are waiting. And, the former Lead Elf stands by with every twinkling secret. Now all Cotter needs is a Christmas lover (plus a few merry helper elves) to bring the sparkle to life from November through year's end.
IF YOU: *Love Christmas*Live near Cotter * Can wrangle volunteers with holiday cheer*Don't mind a little hands-on tinkering* Want a resume-worthy community project, then this small town is calling your name.
It's a volunteer role--but just like every Hallmark story, you won't be doing it alone. The Lead Elf (or Elves) will have the support of the Cotter Volunteer Fire Department, Cotter Area Chamber of Commerce, The Saturday Club of Cotter, and Cotter City Hall. These wonderful groups will lend a hand--especially on the day of the event--but help with setup, takedown, daily checks, and maintenance may vary.
You'll have seasoned elves, a full layout, and the chance to keep one of Cotter's most cherished traditions shining bright.
If your heart grew three sizes reading this, message us. Let's keep Big Spring Park glowing.
