Our library is not government funded, it is a gift from the people of our community , to the people of our community.

What does the term "Lost and Found" mean? Does it mean that you thought you lost something and then you found it? Does it mean the place where things that are left behind are stashed so that they can be "Found" at a later time? It can mean a variety of things, some that come with sad feelings and some that are grateful and happy feelings. Come to Storytime tomorrow (Wed. Mar.29) as we focus on things lost and things found. Just don't get "lost" on your way here! If you do, call us for directions!

Looking for a fun way to support the Library and have a night out? There will be delicious food, a fun and yummy dessert auction, and lots of games and raffles for your enjoyment. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we really need your help and support to make it successful. Grab your friends or coworkers and fill a table of 8. Are turtles really slow? Are turtles really sad? Are they shy and like to hide in their shells a lot? I guess there is a lot that we do not know about turtles. So why not come to our Storytime tomorrow

Do you have a favorite shirt? A fun pair of shoes? Some shiny rainboots? A cozy pair of socks that you like? Tomorrow at Storytime we will be talking about clothes and reading stories about clothes. Then it will be time to make a paper doll wearing clothes for the upcoming celebration of "Week of the Young Child". So join us tomorrow from 11:30-12:30 and wear some of your favorite clothes!

Wednesday, Feb. 22 our Storytime will be themed "Carousels". Doesn't that sound like a fun theme to work with? I can hear the carousel music now! So bring the littles as we all get to hear and talk about carousels and what they are. It will take you back to your childhood!
