Prairie Community Library Prairie Community Library is a non-profit, all volunteer library. Find us at 506 King St. in Cottonwood ID. Thank you.

The library is a volunteer-staffed and donor-funded 5013C entity. Patron/borrower fee is $20 annually for all residents of a single domicile. Materials may be checked out for 2 weeks & are renewable. We appreciate your support and welcome new volunteers and board members. Contact us to let us suggest how you might help keep books shelved and our doors open.

Here's a book that hasn't been read for quite some time. It's a wonderful novel about a new rural schoolteacher and his coaching a tiny basketball team that seemed to have no hope of success. Although set in Gallatin County, Montana it could well have taken place in our part of Idaho. Come check it out. We'll clean off the dust!

Save the date - Tuesday, November 10.

The library will be hosting two speaker's sessions from the Nez Perce Natl Historical Park at Spalding.
10 am for story hour with a coyote story & music.
Then for adults & older kids at 11 am a talk about native foods, traditional food gathering & storage practices. More info to follow.
