What a huge win for the North State! 🎉🏡

It’s inspiring to see what can happen when a community comes together with one goal: creating more affordable housing opportunities for local families.

This week, the City of Mount Shasta took a major step forward by passing updated tiny home ordinances that will help make affordable homeownership more attainable. This didn’t happen overnight—it took passionate advocates, community leaders, nonprofits, city officials, and local businesses all working together toward a common vision.

We’re incredibly grateful that Forever Tiny Homes has had the opportunity to be part of this journey alongside Aurea Wolf, Afa, The YEAH Movement, Ohana Mālamalama, and so many others who have worked tirelessly to make this a reality.

We hope this becomes an example for other cities and counties throughout Northern California and beyond. The housing shortage isn’t going away, but communities willing to think differently can create real solutions.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make this happen! 👏 Here’s to building stronger communities and giving families the opportunity to own a place they can proudly call home.
