Loren Fitzgerald For Potter County Commissioner

In early 2027, I’ll make a decision about running for Potter County Commissioner. In the meantime, I’m running for Coudersport Area School District School Director Region III. This includes Homer, Hebron, Summit, Sweden, and a portion of Allegany Townships. The school district is reportedly projecting a $500k deficit for current year and $1.2 million dollar deficit for the 2025-2026 school year.
I have served previously on the school board where I worked to ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability. On May 20th, I ask for you to write-in “Loren Fitzgerald” for CASD School Director Region III.

There is a misconception that Potter County has to have at least one Democrat as Commissioner. THIS IS NOT TRUE! The two leading Primary vote-getters from each party move on to the general ballot in November...but a write-in can still win during the General election. Keep your eye out for a conservative write-in candidate this fall...they can absolutely win based on electorate numbers in Potter County. We need conservative leadership at the county level!

It's ironic how folks who have neither held an executive-level position nor ever attended a CASD School Board meeting can post such negative comments regarding our CASD Superintendent. Do your own homework and stop listening to conjecture. As someone who has served in leadership positions and served on the CASD school board, I think Drew Kyle is doing a great job! CASD had a revolving door of superintendents for the better part of a decade. We finally have a good leader, who lives in the district (for a change), and is an active member of the community. The majority of folks in the CASD see this for what it is...more liberal drivel aimed at generating votes in the fall.

Please checkout this article. A radical Liberal-funded Super PAC is pumping money into rural PA Republican Commissioner Races to influence the outcomes. Potter County is on that list! You likely received a couple postcards in the mail this week which support our incumbent commissioners. This super PAC is reportedly funded by wealthy liberal donors from New York and California. Less than two weeks until the Primary! If you're a registered Republican in Potter County, you likely received a political mailer today supporting our incumbent commissioners. Look closely...it's funded by a Political Action Committee (PAC) based in Mechanicsburg, PA. Draw your own conclusions, but I'm skeptical of any non-local PAC who's trying to influence local elections.

Congratulations to the Black Forest Falcons Youth Trap Team! They are the Southern Conference STSYTL Champions! 52 shooters from 6 surrounding school districts...our largest team yet in our 7-year history. As your head coach, I couldn't be more proud of all of you! And a big THANK YOU! to our 15 volunteer coaches who keep it safe and make this team possible year after year.
