Coulter Public Library is excited to announce our 2026 Summer Reading Program!

Join us every Tuesday from June 16 through August 11 for stories, crafts, games, activities, and fun surprises each week. This summer, we’re celebrating how stories help us GROW- one book, one activity, and one adventure at a time!

🌼 Daycare & Preschool: 10:00–10:45 a.m.
🌻 Kindergarten–6th Grade: 1:00–2:00 p.m.

Readers of all ages are invited to dig into new books, spark curiosity, and watch their imaginations bloom.

Be on the lookout for fun adult programs and reading challenges this summer too! 🌱

📚🇺🇸 Now on Display at Coulter Public Library: Revolutionary Iowans! 🇺🇸📚

As part of Iowa PBS’s America 250 celebration, Coulter Public Library is excited to host the “Revolutionary Iowans” display. This special exhibit highlights inspiring Iowans whose lives, work, and leadership helped shape our state’s history.

Stop in to explore their stories and celebrate the legacy they left behind.

The display is up during regular library hours, so be sure to check it out next time you stop by!

Hey Franklin County! We are bringing voter registration and updates to you! We are so very excited to be partnering with the Alexander Public Library , Coulter Public Library , Sheffield Public Library , and the Hampton Public Library to bring you Voter Registration Drives right in your back yard!

Do you need to register to vote?! Change your political party before the June 2nd Primary Election? Has your name changed since the last election? Have you moved since the last election?! This is the perfect time to update your voter registration record! Make plans to attend one of these drives!

A big thank you to the Northwest Franklin 4-H Club for hosting the Easter egg hunt at the library on Saturday! It was so fun seeing so many kids and families come out and enjoy the day. We truly appreciate all the time and effort that went into making it such a special event for our community!
