Morris County Emergency Management MR Co. EM is committed to working with the public, the media, and the response agencies not only during an emergency but prior to and after the incident.

The mission of the Morris County Emergency Management Department is to ensure that local capabilities exist for the effective mitigation against, preparedness for, response to, and recovery from all types of major emergencies or disasters (natural, technological, and national security) that threatens Morris County. Morris County Emergency Management is committed to working with the public, the med

ia, and the response agencies not only during an emergency but prior to and after the incident. This is done in part by hosting drills that test the different parts of the Morris County Emergency Operations Plan. These drills utilize the different response agencies to include: fire, medical, law enforcement, hospital, public works, local media, and the private sector.
