Good afternoon, Council Valley friends and neighbors,

It’s with a truly heavy heart that we share this news. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Friends of the Library won’t be able to join in hosting the Kids Zone during this year’s 4th of July celebration. This event means so much to us, and we are deeply sorry for any disappointment this may bring.

We care so much about this community and the families we serve, and we appreciate your understanding more than we can say. Please know that there will still be a Kids Zone at the park next to the Library, and we hope it brings plenty of smiles and fun to your day.

Thank you for your continued support, kindness, and understanding—it truly means the world to us.

What an amazing turnout! Huge thanks to the Council Valley Free Public Library for letting us use the parking lot, and to everyone from Council and beyond who came out to support the library and score some awesome finds at the annual Friends Rummage Sale.
