2020 Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival Cancellation

The Board of Directors of the Coupeville Festival Association announced the cancellation of the 2020 Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2020 Festival would have been the 56th consecutive Festival. Believing that the Arts and Crafts Festival should be a time of celebration not anxiety the Board did not enter into this decision lightly. Public health and safety has been and always will be a top priority. In addition to our guests, there is a responsibility to provide a safe experience for volunteers, vendors and the community.

We are hard at work looking into methods to support our artisan vendors in a unique way in 2020.

The 2021 Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival will be held on August 7 and 8, 2021. Please join us at that time and until then, be safe.

Check out one of the coolest new year-round merchants in Coupeville! Marbley, at 7 Front Street, is open Wednesdays through Sundays. Make your own scarves, sarongs, wood block art, and many other pieces! There's no wrong or right way to do it, decorate it however you like, then when you're done, put your piece on it and VIOLA! The paint instantly dyes the piece. Check out their cool demos at the Festival, make your own scarf for only $39, or stop by the store later. Whidbey Natural Pets is offering a pet care center during the Festival! Don't be afraid to stop in for water and a rest for your furry friend as it keeps heating up.

How hot is too hot?
We found this chart to be super helpful in determining safe summer weather for dogs of all shapes and sizes.

With the Arts and Crafts Festival coming up here in Coupeville, we want to remind folks to use their best judgement on bringing their pets out and about to enjoy the festivities.
We are excited to be a part of the festival this year to provide plenty of water, a cooler place to hang out and even some cold treats to help with the typical warmer weather that accompanies August.
Dogs (or cats!) on leash are always welcome in the store to take a break and cool down.
