-Working Fire-

CVFD units (E42,E41,E43) were dispatched/responded to reports of a Shed Fire behind a residence at 1648hrs. While enroute, units were advised that a shed, 3 vehicles, a boat, and the woods were also on fire and the fire was also impinging on a garage in a neighboring yard.

E42 arrived on scene at 1658hrs and quickly stretched two hand lines for fire attack. E41, E43, and Hunterdale Volunteer Fire Department E56 arrived shortly after and assisted with fire attack operations. T52 was assigned water supply for E42. Fire was marked under control at 1713hrs. Crews remained on scene conducting overhaul operations to ensure the fire was fully extinguished. Courtland Volunteer Rescue Squad assessed and treated 1 patient and obtained a patient refusal.

Thanks to the quick thinking and hard working actions of neighbors prior to FD arrival, the neighboring garage only sustained minimal heat damage.

All CVFD crews cleared the scene at 1808hrs and returned to service.
