Looking for something meaningful to do this Friday evening? Join us THIS FRIDAY at 6 p.m. in the AHRL Community Room for Generations, a special presentation by singer and storyteller Aspen Black!

Designed for teens and adults, this unique program brings together music and storytelling in a way that celebrates the experiences that connect us across generations. We can't wait to see you there!

Last week’s “Dino Academy: A Dinosaur Discovery Show” was an absolute BLAST! 🦖✨

Thank you to Luna and Jordan for bringing dinosaurs to life through an engaging and entertaining performance that delighted audience members of all ages.

A special thank you to Highlands Community Bank for sponsoring this event and making it possible to offer the program free of charge to our community.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church for graciously hosting the performance and helping make this event a success.

A BEAUTIFUL addition to the library, thanks to the very talented Cheyenne Marcus 🎨

Finished up this mural yesterday at the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library 📍 I loved working on this piece and chatting with some of you about art, books, and Humpback Bridge! I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to create something for a library that is so loved by our community 🩵

Also happening at the library this week is Mountain Toppers Healthy Aging on June 18 at 10 a.m. - if you plan to join us, be sure to call ahead to reserve your spot!
