When unexpected roadwork made things tricky for our last Mountain Toppers session, the crews from Miller Pipeline and Traffic Plan - Traffic Control Services went above and beyond to help our attendees navigate safely.

Mountain Toppers 🌄❤️ Despite every street around the library being closed for construction, our amazing community found a way ... braving the back alley just to join us.

We were thrilled to welcome Nicole Gumm Groseclose Insurance Solutions, who led an eye-opening session on “Stability you can count on. Income you can’t outlive.” Her insights on lasting financial security sparked great conversations and real planning.

A huge thank you to Nicole for not only sharing her expertise but also treating everyone to a delicious lunch from Bartley’s Meat Market. 🍽️

Please join us in congratulating Kathryn Johnson on achieving her Girl Scout Gold Award for establishing Crochetforthe Cause here at the library! We are so proud of Kathryn for turning her passion for crochet into a meaningful community service project. 💜

Throughout her senior year at AHS, Kathryn dedicated her time and creativity to building Crochet for the Cause, a welcoming and inclusive community club where people of all ages and experience levels can gather, build friendships, and create handmade items that are donated to local charities.

And she’s not stopping there! Kathryn plans to continue the club while attending college, keeping her passion for crochet and community service going wherever her next chapter takes her.

Want to join the fun? Upcoming meetings are scheduled for August 25, September 29, October 27, November 24 & December 29 (last Tuesday of each month) from 5-7 p.m. in the AHRL Community Room. 🧶
