Applying for the FORTIFIED Roof Program?
Here's how to print proof of your Homestead Exemption from the St. Tammany Parish Assessor's Office website:
1️⃣ Go to STPAO.org
2️⃣ Click CHECK YOUR ASSESSMENT
3️⃣ Click I AGREE
4️⃣ Under Assessment Year, select 2025 from the dropdown menu.
⚠️ Do not use 2026.
5️⃣ Under Search Type, select Owner Name from the dropdown menu.
6️⃣ Enter the property owner's name.
7️⃣ Click SEARCH.
8️⃣ Click the blue Assessment Number.
9️⃣ Your assessment summary will open.
🔍 Look for:
Exemption Type: HOMESTEAD
🔟 PRINT
TIP: If you cannot find your property, make sure Assessment Year is set to 2025 and Search Type is set to Owner Name.
The most common issue is searching in 2026 instead of 2025.
