Out of the hundreds of film and television productions that have filmed in Covington, Georgia, our town was fortunate to be one of the settings for "Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors" and its sequel "Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love." Locals who had the opportunity to interact with Dolly Parton were in awe of her friendliness, humility, and kindness. Gracious and warm, she would take pictures, sign autographs, and speak to fans, staff, and onlookers when going to and from set.

We are so thankful to Dolly Parton for highlighting our town with her story and for shining her radiant light in Covington. 🦋
