Good job by all!

Saturday evening your Covington Firefighters responded to Highway Avenue for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival it was reported that there was smoke on the second floor. A hose line was stretched to extinguish the flames, while a primary search for victims was being conducted. Fire crews located one unconscious victim and quickly removed them from the structure and then transported to the hospital. The location of the victim would’ve been easy to miss with no smoke condition. Currently they are recovering in the hospital and the prognosis is looking good. Job well done to all fire crews that night, this fire could’ve easily turned out different. We hope for healing and a speedy recovery to the affected individual. Excellent Rescue 3rd Shift.
