We want to extend a huge thank you to Bryan Builders for hosting the 14 Crew today. We were provided a great BBQ and then were given a tour of the progress on the Amazon Logistics project. The EMS crews were busy but stopped in to get a quick lunch between runs.

We at Covington Ind. Fire Co. would like to extend our most sincere appreciation to Zach and Savannah, and the entire team at First Due Autism Training, for bringing their "Autism Awareness for First Responders" course to our department. A truely fantastic class designed to raise awareness amongst first responders about recognizing indicators of persons with autism, communication strategies, and best practices when we find our selves engaged in these calls. Classes like these help us grow to be the best responders we can be.

I would also like to thank the members of Erin’s Way, who came out to share their story and their mission raising awareness for elopement and water safety.

It was great to see members from all different organizations joining us tonight, from multiple EMS, Fire, and Police departments. Lots of amazing discussions with everyone, and from what I hear, great things coming down the pipeline for this region, all thanks to the efforts some amazing people have put forward! Thank you for all that you do for the local communities!
