"Fontainebleau High is home to me. I value my time here and I am inspired every day by the connections I make with our substitutes, students, faculty and administrations. I take a tremendous amount of pride in my role, and I strive to make everyone's day better than it started."

Jennifer Normand is a secretary at Fontainebleau High who understands the unique role she has at her school which allows her to support the campus as a whole. From the faculty and student body to the substitutes and community, the relationships Jennifer has established at Fontainebleau High have left an endless mark of endearment on who she is today.

✏️ Student of the Year Spotlight 📚

Beija is Mandeville High's 2025-2026 Student of the Year, and was a Louisiana State Finalist in this year's competition! Beija is the Student Body President of her school and is an active member of the Skipper Buddies Club, Waymaker Mentor Club, and the Lighthouse Leadership Team. She is also the K-12 Student Representative to the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education where she represents the voices of students from schools across Louisiana. Beija has goals of pursuing studies in public policy with a concentration in educational policy and plans to have a career in civil service.

Jamie carries with her a passion for ensuring the health and safety of her students. She is a huge asset to her school, both upfront and behind the scenes where she provides a source of comfort, support, and strength to her school and community. Whether it's a campus emergency or a routine check-up, Jamie can always be counted on to provide professionalism and solutions. She is proud to represent her school and all of the other nurses that serve our district.
