Covington Police Department The Patrol Division of the Covington Police Department is responsible for answering calls for service within the city limits.

Patrol officers of the division are the first to respond to all calls for services. Patrol officers are responsible for traffic enforcement, accident investigation, minor criminal investigations, business and residential security checks, assisting citizens and motorist and enforcing all local, and state laws.

a line extending from near Covington to near Hollywood. These storms
were nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

In August, Covington's Commissioner of Revenue office will conduct a food drive. Donations can be brought to their office at 333 W. Locust Street during normal business hours. They will also be out at Walmart in the morning on Aug. 12th, accepting donations in person. Most needed items are listed on the flyer.
