On the evening of March 3rd, members of station 2 had the privilege of speaking to the local Girl Scouts about public safety, fire safety, and what to do in emergency situations. We were joined by members of Webster Memorial EMS, WV state police and the Webster County Sheriffs Office.

Station 2 was alerted for the report of a structure fire on Webster Rd. Station 1 was also alerted as automatic mutual aid. Units arrived on scene to find the residence full of smoke and fire in the rear exterior wall and was spreading throughout and into the floor. Crews worked quickly to contain and extinguish the fire. After successful extinguishment and ventilation, all units returned to service.

At 20:14 Station 2 was alerted for a residential structure fire on Okd Birch Rd in Cowen. Station 1 was also alerted for automatic mutual aid. Units arrived on scene to find a multiple story residential structure with fire showing throughout. Crews worked for several hours to extinguish the fire. All units returned to service after the fire was deemed out.

🏈 Super Bowl Bingo Boards are here! 🎉
Pick a square, watch the game, and win prizes—all while supporting a great cause. Squares are limited, and $5 a piece. Money can be dropped off at the Cowen NAPA or given to a member of the department.

The board will be filled out as spaces are purchased and can be viewed at the NAPA as well.

This past Sunday the station 2 family gathered for our annual Christmas dinner. A great time was had be all. A huge thank you goes out to those who made the event possible.
