Can We Reach You? District Notification Test September 15

Being able to communicate with our families quickly and reliably is important—especially when the information is urgent.

On **Tuesday, September 15 at 6:00 PM**, Coweta Public Schools will conduct our annual **Mass Notification Test**. During the test, we will send a districtwide notification to help ensure our communication systems are working properly and that our families are connected.

Before September 15, we encourage every family to make sure you are connected to these important resources:

The **PowerSchool Parent Portal** is where families can review and update important student and contact information, complete required forms, make online payments, and access other student information.

**Every family should have an active Parent Portal account**, regardless of the age or grade of your student.

The **CowetaPS app** is our primary tool for school and district communication. It provides news, announcements, alerts, calendars, and messages from Coweta Public Schools—all in one place.

If you have trouble accessing the PowerSchool Parent Portal, connecting your students, logging into CowetaPS, or getting either service set up, you can now submit a **Technology Help Ticket** directly to our Technology Team.

You don't have to figure it out on your own. Send us a ticket and we'll help get you connected.

Heritage Parents,

If you drop off or pick up your student at Southside, please be aware of an important reminder regarding district pickup and drop-off procedures.

To enhance student safety, all CPS elementary schools have implemented updated arrival and dismissal procedures. Parents and guardians should remain in their vehicles during student pickup and drop-off. Parents should not park and walk to the school or pickup area to retrieve students. This procedure helps us maintain a secure environment for all students while keeping traffic moving efficiently.

Please note that Heritage students do not arrive at Southside until approximately 3:10 p.m. If you are picking up your student, we ask that you arrive no earlier than 3:10 p.m. Arriving at the designated time will help reduce congestion and shorten wait times for all families.

We appreciate your cooperation and support as we work together to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal process for every student.
