Coyle Fire Department deployed early this morning with Logan County Task Force to the panhandle to assist with with the ongoing fires for the next two days.

Picture is of them on the New Mexico side hitting hot spots during there shift.

We have rain in the forecast most of the week hopefully some will fall and help with the drought we are in.

Coyle Fire along with every Logan County agency is en route to Enid as part of the Logan County task force to assist with the tornado that affected the Enid area. Keep all first responders across the state whether they were in the path or are responding to the path.

Near-critical and elevated fire weather will be a factor on Friday across most of the state with the highest risk in western and northwest Oklahoma.

⚠️Reschedule any activities that could spark a wildfire
⚠️Be sure any fires that start before Friday are fully extinguished
⚠️Properly dispose of lit ci******es

Tomorrow Sunday 12-28-25 is an elevated fire risk day. If you have had any control burns the last couple days now is the time to make sure they are completely extinguished. Tomorrow is not ok to burn.

We want to take a moment to thank Eskridge Chevrolet. The Coyle Volunteer Fire Department was selected to participate in the nationwide 2025 Chevy First Responder program, thanks to Eskridge Chevrolet for being our sponsor! Through this program, we will be receiving a $1,250.00 sponsorship check and more!

Thanks to this sponsorship, we will be using this funding to go towards upgrading some of our outdated medical equipment to be able to serve our community!
