🚚 Cozad has Invested in a NEW Roll Off Truck and Dumpsters🚚
We have 20 yard and 30 yard dumpsters available to rent to help you clean up any project or mess. Please contact the Cozad City Office at 308-784-3907 for rental information!
We also have a roll off dumpster placed every Wednesday and Saturday at the tree dump lot on Hwy 30 for Cozad residents to dump appliances, furniture and other big items at your convenience.

The Roll off Dumpster is available Every Wednesday and Saturday. It will be placed in the tree dump lot across from Pump and Pantry on Hwy 30. You can dump Appliances (washer, dyers, dishwashers, stoves, fridge, freezers), Air Conditioners , Computer/TV's, Doors , Furniture and Mattresses.
NO Tires, Fluids or Batteries. If the landfill will not accept it, it can not go in the dumpster. If the roll-off is full please do not leave it on the ground. Thank you for your cooperation.

Cozad Electric Lineman participated in the annual Hurt Man Rescue Training today through Northeast Community College.

A hurt man rescue is an emergency procedure used by line workers to safely lower an injured or incapacitated coworker from a utility pole. The rescuer climbs the pole, positions their belt above the victim, secures the victim with three loose half hitches, cuts the victim's fall-restraint lanyard, and uses a rigging line as a brake to ease them to the ground. Rescuers aim to complete the procedure in under 4 minutes.

Come soak up the last bit of sunshine, take one final plunge, and help us close out an amazing season!
