Engine 34 with a crew of 5 participated in the triennial disaster drill at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport. The Engine was assigned water supply for mass decontamination operations, with the crew assisting passengers through the decontamination stations.

Flashing sirens, a decontamination zone and firefighters escorting patients who can’t walk to triage sites are a rare sight at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, but not as rare as one

The Crabtree Volunteer Fire Department is always recruiting Volunteer Firefighters & Rescue Personnel to fill our ranks and serve the community. The volunteer numbers continue to shrink in our area, and it is becoming critical that we replenish the numbers that we have lost over the years. Giving us a small amount of your time could go a long way in keeping the citizens of our communities safe, now and in the future. Training and equipment are provided. Paid call stipend and other benefits provided through a grant received. Contact us at 724-838-7734, via our page, the website shown, or stop by the station.
We also provide fire station and equipment tours on a regular basis. Contact us for you, your family or a group to receive a tour of the fire station, apparatus and equipment, and learn what we do on a day-to-day basis.

The Rescue and Utility responded into Derry Twp for a house fire. Crews had a vacant residence that was fully engulfed with collapse. One of several overnight incidents the Department responded to over the weekend.

Unity Township spring clean up is this weekend! Dumpsters will not be placed in towns & at fire depts. this year, all dumpsters will be located at the Unity Township Municipal Building. Please view the flier below for dumpster guidelines.

The Crabtree Volunteer Fire Department & St. Bartholomew Parish wish to thank all of you who supported our annual Lenten Fish Fry fundraiser this year!
