REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR BID
WINTER MAINTENANCE OF CRAFTBURY TOWN ROADS

The Town of Craftsbury is accepting lump sum bids for winter maintenance of Town roads in Craftsbury.

The roads are: Cole Drive, Daniels Road and Cate Hill Road. Bidders must also provide a separate lump sum price to include Tanner Road in the contract as an optional add-on.

The maintenance consists of the following: plowing to maintain roads to be negotiable by standard pleasure vehicle under normal conditions from December 1, 2026 to April 1, 2027 winter season.
The successful bidder must furnish a Certificate of Insurance to include Worker’s Comp and Liability insurance, and must list the Town of Craftsbury as an Additional Insured prior to ex*****on of the contract with the Town of Craftsbury.

All bids must be in a sealed envelope and plainly marked “Winter Maintenance Proposal” and must be
received by 3pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Electronic submission of bids are not accepted. Submit bids to: Craftsbury Selectboard, Town of Craftsbury, P.O. Box 55, Craftsbury, VT 05826 or drop off to the Town Clerk at the Craftsbury Town Office at 85 South Craftsbury Road, Craftsbury, Vermont. The Town of Craftsbury reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids as deemed in the best interest of the Town.

The Craftsbury Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 11 at the Craftsbury Town Hall, 85 South Craftsbury Road.

Polling Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

If you requested an absentee ballot, please remember to return it by Election Day. Voters who still need an absentee ballot should contact the Town Clerk's Office as soon as possible.
