Work continued this week on the Highway 40 East Sidewalk project. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Work was slowed due to rain over the weekend 🌧️, and crews focused on clearing ditches downstream of the new sidewalk and installing sidewalk ramps near Colorado Street.

The City of Craig would like to extend a big thank you to Moffat County Road & Bridge and Anson Excavating & Pipe for all the hard work this week! 👏🦺

Construction will resume next week following the holiday weekend. 🇺🇸

🚧 **Construction Update: Highway 40 East Sidewalk Project** 🚧

Construction is underway on the Highway 40 East Sidewalk project. Moffat County and the City of Craig have partnered to build a new 10-foot wide sidewalk that will create a pedestrian and bicycle connection between City Park and the Boys and Girls Club along Highway 40 and adjacent to the Moffat County Fairgrounds. 🚶‍♀️🚲

📅 Work is estimated for completion in October, weather dependent.

💙 We appreciate the community’s patience while crews work hard to build the new sidewalk.
