At Kids Club today we learned what Pictographs, Petroglyphs and Hieroglyphs are then made some of our own Pictographs to tell a story. Dinosaurs weren't the only things that lived long ago. Ancient people did too and they left behind their cave drawings and rock art to tell their stories. Some very interesting and creative stories were told today!

LOOK AT THESE PRIZES AT THE DINOSAUR LIBRARY!

These dino-mite goodies are waiting to go home with readers like you! Kids and teens of all ages will receive a log to track their reading at home. Finish a level and return it to the Dinosaur Library for your choice of prize. Non-readers can count the time being read to so they can participate as well. Adults get to enter a slip for every adult length book completed during the program for a chance to win a BBQ set gift basket complete with tools and cooking seasonings. Stop by the Dinosaur Library located at 400 W. School St. to get started!

R.O.B.O.T.S. challenge at today's Lego Club. We were told they were all the hero/helpful kind and not the evil kind although there was one shark robot who couldn't promise he wouldn't try to eat you. Wanna come build with us? We meet at the Craig Branch on Thursday afternoons from 3:30 - 4:30pm for the summer. Just drop in!
