The Town of Cramerton Board of Commissioners appointed Rhett Cozart to the Board during its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 1.

Cozart was appointed to fill the seat vacated by former Commissioner Kathy Ramsey and will serve the remainder of the term, which expires in December 2029.

Choose from 1 of over 50 cleanup sites and enjoy a day of hard work, fun, fellowship, and action that benefits the environment and your community!

Boat captains shuttle volunteers to hard-to-reach areas of the lakes to pick up more trash. Site captains ensure that every one of our 50+ cleanup sites run smoothly and safely.

The Town of Cramerton has been awarded a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to help eligible homeowners make necessary repairs to their homes. Funding is provided through the North Carolina Department of Commerce with funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The program can help with needed repairs such as roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, windows and doors, flooring, kitchen and bathroom repairs, accessibility improvements, and more. This program is intended for necessary housing rehabilitation—not remodeling or redecorating.

Eligible homeowners must:
🏡 Own and occupy the home as their primary residence
📍 Live within the Cramerton town limits
💰 Meet household income requirements
✅ Meet other program eligibility requirements

Funding is extremely limited, with approximately four or more homes expected to receive assistance depending on repair needs and available funding.

Public Works will begin pressure washing the main underpass by Town Hall this Sunday (8/23) at 6:30 AM.
