It is with great sadness the Vaz family announces the passing of Cajetan (aka Chris) Vaz.

On behalf of my sister, Juliet Vaz, I am formally sharing the news that Cajetan Vaz passed away of natural causes on January 31, 2026 at the Brighton Gardens Nursing Facility of Edison, NJ, where Juliet & Chris had been relocated for the past two years.

​The death was pronounced by Dr. Ketan Vaidya, MD, in Edison, NJ. Dr. Vaidya serves as the primary physician for both Cajetan and Juliet Vaz, and is a member of the medical panel at Brighton Gardens, Edison, New Jersey.

May Chris' soul rest in eternal peace ✝️🙏🏻
