🚒 Thank You for Making Our Open House a Success! 🚒

We want to extend a huge thank you to all of our community members who came out and made our Open House such an incredible success! With over 150 people in attendance, it was amazing to see so many of you take the time to learn more about the ESD and our future goals.

From kids exploring the fire engines to hands-on fun with the rescue manikin, it was a great day of learning, connection, and community. Seeing families engage, ask questions, and spend time with our firefighters is exactly what this event is all about.

We’re proud to serve such a supportive and engaged community, and we look forward to continuing to grow together. Thank you again for coming out!

Battle of the Badges II: A Community United for Crandall ISD Students... Yesterday, the Crandall ISD softball field was the proud host of the Battle of the Badges II Charity Softball Game, a spirited event dedicated to supporting Crandall ISD students. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we collected essential school supplies and raised over $2,000 to benefit local students.

The event began on a powerful note with the National Anthem, beautifully performed by a talented CISD student, setting the tone for a day filled with heart and unity. A moving ceremonial first pitch was thrown by Christopher Kemp, who is courageously battling brain cancer reminding us of all of the strength found in family and community.

Adding energy and entertainment throughout the game was the beloved Dancing Umpire, whose enthusiasm kept spirits high and smiles wide. While no extra points were awarded for dance moves, the joy and camaraderie on the field were undeniable. A true heartfelt professional and we thank him for his time.

The competition was fierce, the crowd was electric, and in the end, the Crandall Fire Department emerged victorious, proudly retaining their title as Championship Winners.

This unforgettable event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors—including Siddon Martin, Careflite, and 30/30 Fitness—as well as the dedicated volunteers from both the Police and Fire Departments, and the enthusiastic participation from CISD.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, participated, and cheered us on. Together, we made a meaningful impact—and proved once again that when our community comes together, great things happen.
