A new capability for defense testing is here! 🚀

We've partnered with the Indiana National Guard to unveil the nation's FIRST ground-based Sled Track Facility at Camp Atterbury. This state-of-the-art track reaches speeds up to Mach 1, allowing us to test advanced flight conditions right here on the ground.

What does this mean?
✅ Faster development of critical technology
✅ Safer testing for our aircrew
✅ An estimated $1.7 million in annual savings

We are accelerating innovation to deliver mature, reliable countermeasures that protect our Warfighters. A huge thank you to all our partners for making this milestone possible!

🤝 Building the Future of Defense Innovation!

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with the University of Minnesota Twin Cities of (UMN) and the National Security Research Institute (NSRI). On August 4-5, our Technology Transfer (T2) Office hosted UMN and NSRI leadership to build a robust, future-ready talent pipeline and foster cutting-edge innovation.

A major highlight was the signing of an Educational Partnership Agreement (EPA) by CAPT Rex Boonyobhas and UMN Dean Andrew Alleyne. This means more integrated research, hands-on experiences for students, and faster technology transitions for our warfighters!

Our NSWC Crane experts also sat down with the delegation to plan future internships and collaborative research in critical areas like:

🚀 Hypersonics & Computational Aerosciences
💻 Advanced Microelectronics & Spintronics
🧬 Emerging Biotechnology & Biomanufacturing Applications

A huge thank you to UMN and NSRI leadership for a fantastic visit. We can't wait to see what we achieve together!
