Over the weekend the subordinate units of the 143rd Regional Support Group (192nd Engineers, 118th Medical and 143rd CSSB) held a repatching ceremony adopting the patch of the 43rd Infantry Division. The 43rd existed as a division from the 1920s to 1960s, later continuing as the 43rd Brigade, and now as the 143rd RSG. The 43rd served notably in the Pacific Theater in World War 2 and this patch helps connect today's Soldiers with the rich history of the unit.
