It is up to THE CRANSTON FINANCE COMMITTEE on July 18th and THE CRANSTON CITY COUNCIL on July 25th! The Mayor does NOT approve our contracts!!! We are relying on YOU to send this to ALL our members and TURN THE PEOPLE OUT!

Cranston Teachers - please attend the Cranston Finance Committee meeting on Monday, July 18th at 6:00 pm in the Cranston East Auditorium.

The Mayor has issued a statement that he wants our newly ratified teacher and paraprofessional contracts to go back for review. The CTA units ratified these contracts after the School Committee and CTA negotiated in good faith for many months. The School Committee approved the contracts following ratification by the teachers and paraprofessionals. The Mayor has mismanaged millions of city funds and now wants to put the fix on our backs. Please attend and voice your opposition to his request and support your contracts!
