🚨We hope you enjoyed our April Fools joke. As much as we love nachos, we haven’t found a fire truck manufacturer who has found room for a nacho bar…or a helipad.🚨

Delivery scheduled for April 1, 2023. Open house for community to check it out will be on April 31, 2023 from 12p-2p. Free Nachos from the nacho bar!!!!

STORM UPDATE... We just participated in a conference call with the National Weather Service. Here's the latest on the storm:

*TODAY... expect a mix of rain and snow. Snow is expected across the higher elevations of Eastern Columbia County, with mostly a rain/snow mix in Western Columbia County, transitioning to all snow by this evening.

*TONIGHT... heavy, wet snow is expected across all of Columbia County.

*TUESDAY... heavy snow continues through noon. The snow may become more powdery, which means blowing/drifting snow could result in very low visibility. Snow winds down late Tuesday. Winds will pick up later in the day, through the day on Wednesday.

*WEDNESDAY.... Expect wind gusts 35-40 mph throughout the day. This, coupled with the heavy wet snow on tree limbs, will likely cause some trees and limbs to come down which could result in power outages.

*SUMMARY.... snow starts today, winds down late Tuesday and ends by Wednesday morning.

Heaviest snow between midnight tonight and noon Tuesday.

Travel will be very difficult during the Tuesday morning and evening commute.

Strong gusty winds late Tuesday through the day on Wednesday. Winds could result in power outages.

WINTER STORM *WARNING* ISSUED FOR COLUMBIA COUNTY, NY... MONDAY EVENING (3/13/23) THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING (3/15/23)...

WESTERN COLUMBIA COUNTY... Heavy wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 15 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35-45 mph.

EASTERN COLUMBIA COUNTY... Heavy wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 12 to18 inches with higher amounts up to 20 inches in the higher terrain areas of the southern Greens and Berkshires. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
