If you vote early at the County Government Center, be sure to take advantage of your trip. If you own property in Montgomery County, turned 65 by 12/31/25, and your 2025 Adjusted Gross Income was less than $60K (single filer) or $70K (married filing jointly), bring your 2025 IRS form 1040 with you. Stop by the Auditor’s Office while you’re here and apply for the Over 65 Credit and Circuit Breaker if you haven’t already done so!

As some of you know, 2026 property taxes are now visible in Beacon on the Montgomery County website! Yes, we know things look a little strange. Unfortunately, Beacon has not yet been updated to display all of the latest legislative changes that had to be built into our taxation system. The property tax amount due is correct, but all of the deductions, credits and other calculation factors are not yet visible. We’re working with all vendors involved to get the display corrected, and will post here as soon as the updates are in place.
