We are looking for Youth Development Professionals. YDPs are responsible for the implementation of our academic, healthy lifestyles, and leadership programs for Club members ages 5-18. They work daily to develop meaningful mentoring relationships with members and families. The YDP’s provide programs through active participation with Club members to help them make appropriate choices about their educational, personal, physical, social, emotional, and vocational needs.

Part-time, M-F, 1:30-6pm, $15/hour.

Don’t Let Equipment Be the Barrier!
The Youth Sports Closet is here to help make sure every child has the opportunity to get in the game! We believe equipment shouldn’t be a barrier to a child being able to play, participate, and be part of a team. If a few gently used items can help get your child onto the field, we’re happy to help!

We currently have gently used soccer, football, and baseball cleats, along with shin guards, available for local youth who could use them. Through equipment drives held at each of our three school corporations, the Mayor’s Youth Civic Engagement Council has collected donated sports equipment to help give these items a second life—and get them into the hands of kids who can use them!

Afterschool Program begins on Monday, August 10. We will have program for K-5 and 6-8 grades. We do ask that if you plan to have your child attend, please come to the club to fill out paperwork. You can stop by anytime this week from 7am-6pm or next week on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday from 10am-6pm.

Backpacks: Thanks to a generous donation by Banjo Corporation, we have free backpacks with school supplies for all our youth who attended this summer or who register for afterschool program this fall. We will distribute on a first come-first served basis.
