πŸŒŠβ˜€οΈ Help Keep Our Coast Beautiful After the Fourth of July! β˜€οΈπŸŒŠ

Join Redwood Parks Conservancy and our partners for the annual July 5 Beach Clean-Up and help remove litter and firework debris left behind after Independence Day celebrations.

Last year, volunteers collected more than 2,300 pounds of trash and debris from local beaches. This year, we're coming together once again to protect marine life, coastal habitats, and the shoreline we all love.

πŸ“… Sunday, July 5
⏰ 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
πŸ“ 110 Anchor Way, Crescent City (parking lot next to Schmidt's House of Jambalaya)

We'll provide coffee, a safety briefing, cleanup supplies, snacks, and refreshments. Volunteers will focus efforts at South Beach, Crescent Beach, and Elk Creek, with special attention on a two-mile stretch of South Beach.

πŸ‘Ÿ Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.

πŸ”— RSVP at the link in our bio!

Every bag of trash collected helps protect wildlife, improve beach access, and preserve the natural beauty of Del Norte County's coastline.

🌲 Heading to Eureka Friday Night Market? Stop by and say hello! 🌲

Redwood Parks Conservancy will be at Eureka Friday Night Market tonight from 5:00–8:30 p.m., and we'd love to meet you.

Come chat with members of our team, learn about current projects and volunteer opportunities, and discover how community support helps protect and enhance Redwood National and State Parks. From the Grove of Titans boardwalk and Titaneers volunteer program to outdoor education and habitat restoration, so much of this work is possible because people who love the redwoods choose to get involved.

We'll also have a selection of redwood-inspired merchandise available for purchase, with proceeds supporting park programs, education, conservation, and visitor experiences throughout Redwood National and State Parks.

🌲 Meet Conservancy staff
🌲 Learn about volunteer opportunities

These forests still stand because people cared enough to act.

Redwood National and State Parks exist thanks to those who loved these placesβ€”and fought to protect them before they were lost.

But protection is only the beginning. Restoration and stewardship take ongoing support.

Be part of that legacy. Make a donation today because you love the redwoods.

The redwoods are more than treesβ€”they’re a living, breathing ecosystem. 🌿

Roosevelt elk. California condors. Coho salmon. Banana slugs. Ferns, fungi, and fog moving through an ancient forest. All are deeply intertwined and dependent on a healthy habitat.

We need 75 first-time donors to help protect this web of life with a gift today as part of our Because You Love the Redwoods campaign.
