Mark your calendars for the FREE Halloween Carnival & Monster Splash on October 24th! This fun event kicks off at 11 am with a costume contest at Noon. At 1:30 pm, all kids 18 and under can swim for free until 4:30 pm (Pool Rules apply). And at 6 pm, we invite kids 13 and up to join us for a free "Spooky Swim" until 7:30 pm. Questions? The Town Hall meeting to discuss the Downtown Specific Plan to include zoning and architectural information will be held on Thursday, September 24th at 5:30 pm at the Washington Fire Hall, 255 W. Washington Blvd, Crescent City.

This is going to be an amazing event that includes vendors, a blood drive, farmer's market, food trucks. a passport to win prizes, and a Kids Zone. Del Norte County Public Health is celebrating 30 Years of Health in Our Community, and everyone is invited to come out for a day of health, resources, activities, and community connection!

Come connect with local health and community organizations and enjoy family activities, live music, a farmers market, food vendors, public safety partners, a vaccine clinic, and more! The Northern California Community Blood Bank will also be on site, with the Bloodmobile beginning donations early at 9:30 AM.

Planning to donate blood? There’s even a friendly challenge from Del Norte County Public Health's Anna Porter: Can you beat her donation time of 6 minutes and 11 seconds?

The Fred Endert Municipal Pool is hiring part-time lifeguards. No experience? No problem. We're offering a Lifeguard Certification Class on September 23rd and 24th. If you pass this class, you can move onto the next phase of being considered for employment. We're especially interested in those who have morning availability and a flexible schedule.
