Hwy 199 is currently closed due to an accident. We are being told that the spill is not fuel but instead apple juice. Estimated time of re-opening is 3 pm today. Please plan accordingly.

What a career! We are so lucky to have had Jerry Cardenas volunteer for our fire department for 24 plus years. Mayor Wright, City Manager Wier and Fire Chief Gillespie all recognized him at the City Council Meeting and many volunteer firefighters were in attendance to honor his service. Thank you, Jerry and family. We wish you all the best!

Congratulations to the team @ Sutter Coast Hospital for the completion of the new Empath Center. This new addition will help our community address much needed mental health issues to allow for residents to receive support and resources!

Congratulations to Jerry Cardenas for giving 24 years to our community as a firefighter. His service is extremely appreciated and he will be missed!!!

ATTENTION: The City of Crescent City will be honoring Captain Jerry Cardenas at the City Council meeting tonight at 6PM. The meeting will be held at 981 H Street in the Flynn Center Board of Chambers.

Let's show our support and gratitude for Jerry's 24 years of service in our community!
