πŸš›πŸ”’ National Secure Your Load Day πŸ”’πŸš›

Today, the CHP Crescent City Area is reminding everyone to Secure Your Load for Safer Roads!

Whether you’re hauling yard debris, furniture, construction materials, or recreational equipment, taking a few extra minutes to properly secure your load can prevent crashes, injuries, and costly fines.

βœ… Tie down all items securely
βœ… Cover loose materials with a tarp or net
βœ… Double-check straps and connections before driving
βœ… Remove any loose items from truck beds and trailers

A single unsecured item can become a dangerous roadway hazard. Help keep our highways safe for everyone by making load security part of every trip.

Secure it. Check it. Drive safely.

This past Friday, the California Highway Patrol Crescent City Area said goodbye to someone who has meant so much to our 120 family β€” our Office Supervisor, Bailee. πŸ’™

For the past 3.5 years, Bailee has been the heart of our office, bringing hard work, professionalism, kindness, and dedication to everything she did. No matter what the day brought, she always showed up with a smile, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help others. Her warmth and uplifting spirit made even the busiest days brighter.

As Bailee moves on to her next chapter, we want her to know just how grateful we are for everything she has given to our office and team. Words truly can’t express how much she will be missed, both professionally and personally.

Bailee, thank you for your unwavering dedication, your positivity, and for being such an important part of our CHP family. While we are sad to see you go, we are excited for all that lies ahead for you and know you will do amazing things.

Please join us in wishing Bailee the very best in this next adventure. πŸ’›
