🚔 BUCKLE UP, IOWA! 🚔

The Cresco Police Department would like to remind everyone that wearing your seatbelt is not only common sense — it’s Iowa law.

Under Iowa Code Section 321.445, all front-seat occupants and all passengers under the age of 18 are required to wear a properly fastened seatbelt while a vehicle is in motion.

A seatbelt can be the difference between life and death in a crash. Taking just a few seconds to buckle up helps protect you, your passengers, and everyone else on the road.

⚠️ Failure to wear a seatbelt can result in a citation and fines.

Remember: ✔️ Every trip ✔️ Every time ✔️ Every passenger

Help us keep Cresco safe by making seatbelt use a habit.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer — it is a day to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave everything for our freedom.

As you spend time with family and friends today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their memory.

From all of us at the Cresco Police Department, thank you to those who served and sacrificed for our nation. 🇺🇸
