Thank you KCAL Channel 9 for airing this package by Nicole Comstock. She and her camera person are so kind and generous and have stayed in touch with all of us on the San Bernadino mountains since . We need more voices like theirs to show we're still trying to recover up here.

With only a few months until winter comes back, residents in Crestline are racing to fix their roofs before storms return to Southern California.

Spring 2019 Tour of Lake Gregory Education Community Center and Ballfield. Attendance: Board Member: Gigi Bannister. Some of these things were resolved since these photos were taken. Some are in the works.

This is YOUR park, YOUR ballfield, YOUR facility! We need YOUR input as to what YOU would like to see at this facility and improvements YOU want to see and don't want to see. Independent tour of Lake Gregory Education Community Center. Present: Gigi Bannister

1) Wood chip piles - liability - children using them to play on (fell) and dog walkers have established a trail from lower to upper parking area. Remove or spread chips.
2) Paint for fences and railings
3) Signage above entrance to building says Mountain High School. Change sign insert to reflect Rim of the World Recreation and Park District Lake Gregory Education Community Center. Use electronic signage for announcements and phone #.
4) Water fountain outside near basketball courts needs repair
5) Boys bathroom outside used for storage
6) Inside bathrooms have no handles on stall doors.
7) vending machines only have "junk" food.
8) Ongoing irrigation system problems
9) Piled up leaves on stairs - Since removed.
10) Air dryers for bathrooms but people still using paper - trash full.
11) Dandelions removal and control
12) Field improvements
13) Façade painting on outside of building
14) Dumpster trash control
15) Fences in upper parking area all broken with posts and caps, chain links broken in disrepair. Not swept.

We recently did a Tour of the Rim of the World Recreation and Parks District facilities. Tour of park facilities at Arrowbear. Present were: Board members: Gigi Bannister and Lawrence Mainez; CEO/GM Karen Reams,and facilities manager: Brian Henandez.

1) Historic Totem Pole restoration project.
2) Painting of Aztec Storage Trailers by leagues
3) Install walking/running track around perimeter
4) Monitor and remove dandelion infestation
5) repair to gutters and install new gutters around building
