Come join us in celebrating health by participating in fun health related activities and conversing with some of our mountains best health-related organization and vendors! The fair will take place on Saturday, May 21th from 10am to 3pm at the Crestline Park:

Rim Communities For Youth Coalition is partnering with Mountains Community Hospital to host two FREE community naloxone training sessions on Thursday, January 25th. The sessions are available at 2 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. This training is recommended for anyone at risk for an opioid overdose, friends and family of someone at risk, or anyone in the field of healthcare, education, social services, law enforcement, emergency response providers, and faith based entities.

Rim Family Services, Inc. is seeking applications for a 20 hour per week Peer and Family Advocate. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, assisting with educational activities in all schools in the Rim Communities and attending community events to promote programs. Applicants should be comfortable with public speaking in front of all ages. Applicants should also be familiar with and experienced with using social media. All training for curriculums will be provided. Spanish speaking is preferred. Starting pay $21 per hour. Send resumes to [email protected]

Rim Family Services, Inc. is seeking applications for a Senior Peer and Family Advocate. A peer provider is preferred for this 30 hour per week position. Applicants must have paid or volunteer experience working with the older adult population. This position includes facilitating older adult programs such as home safety education, social activities, su***de prevention, wellness services, and outreach activities. This position also includes attending community meetings and visiting senior centers in the Rim Communities. Starting pay $21.00 per hour. Rim Family Services/Rim Communities For Youth RCFY is partnering with Mountains Community Hospital to put on a free community naloxone training on Jan. 25th. There are two sessions, 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., to accommodate our local agencies and the community at large. This is a valuable resource for our Rim Communities. Knowing how to properly use naloxone, also known as Narcan, can save lives in the event of an overdose.
