November 15th is quickly approaching us. Here is a friendly reminder of our snow ordinance!
The snow removal ordinance starts November 15th and goes until March 31st. Below is the text of the warnings papers we try and put out to violators when the ordinance goes into effect.

"WARNING – SNOW REMOVAL ORDINANCE 69.15
The City of Creston’s Snow Removal ordinance requires vehicles to park on alternate sides of the street between November 15th through March 31st. The ordinance provides “on the street sides where building bear even numbers, that is on the south and west sides of the streets, parking is prohibited on all odd numbered days from 1AM to 7AM”. It further provides “on street sides where building bear odd numbers, that is the north and east sides of the streets, parking is prohibited on all even numbered days from 1AM to 7AM”. Parking in city lots is also prohibited between 2AM and 6AM irregardless of date. The fine for violation of this ordinance is $25 if paid within 30 days. After 30 days a $5 late fee will be imposed. Violations not paid after 60 days are subject to further sanctions. It is important to note the ordinance goes into effect at 1AM, so if you park your vehicle for the night before midnight, you need to park for the next day. For example, if today’s date is even, when you park tonight you need to park on the ODD side of the street in order to account for tomorrow’s date. NO PARKING signs are disregarded during the snow removal season during snow removal hours."

(Not me personally. A resident of Creston shared this.) So today I opened this NEW gallon of milk that a daycare father of 4 bought at our Walmart (Creston, Iowa) yesterday. It took me at least 15 minutes to pry the lid off this jug of milk to find the inside seal was broke and nasty black hunk under the seal, after inspecting the lid , I can clearly see that someone tampered with milk, with a needle and glued it shut. I didn’t serve this to our children in daycare, I fear the worse seeing this 😱 My husband took this gallon of milk to Walmart and told them to watch for tampering, but the acted like they really didn’t care about the issue at hand 🤷🏼‍♀️, so he took the milk to the police station to inform them of the tampering and they didn’t feel it was a threat either. Ok this really is upsetting because anyone could have gotten this milk and who knows if it was contaminated or even tainted with poison and seriously made someone ill or even death! This is a very sick world we live in!! *****PLEASE BE ADVISED TO WATCH FOR TAMPERING ON YOUR MILK *****
If this isn't allowed, please delete. ***PLEASE SHARE*** My fur baby got away from my son on Wed. (2-20) on Mudlake Rd. Seville, OH. She has been spotted on the road behind him, Stuckey, and around the Creston area. She is scared and skittish although she may come to you with the word "treat" if you try and bribe her. I am a widow and she is my beloved companion and greatly missed. If you see her, please call one of these numbers......330-419-4275 or 330-419-8061 or 513-824-5435.........Thank You and Please Share No pic allowed so description is........She's a Sheepadoodle, part poodle, part Old English Sheepdog. She's CURLY white and grey with a little black. Weighs about 65 lbs.
odd question for you.My buddy is the CEO for a start-up company that makes all natural vitamin supplements for dogs called "Primal Power".I have 4 bags coming. This stuff really works.Would you like to try a bag for your K-9 ?
I'm waiting to see if the Creston Police Department gets challenged to lip sync. Better start practicing.
I had the privilege last night to meet your new "ride-along". forgive me for forgetting his name He was poised, courteous & confident,I was impressed with his entire demeanor. I thought you should know.
Such a sad thing.....
RMA Armament made here in Iowa is having an excellent deal on LVL 4 ceramics, $99 per plate. Worth the price since your soft armor is borderline useless and you aren't issued hard plates.

How could the photo not be investigated as threat of a hate crime? Your ignoring it is th ed same as approving it.

I would like to thank the police and fire department for a great job they did, and catching that woman who set the house on fire (July 2)!!! Now who's going to set her on fire!!
