Another very, very frigid and snowy days coming!😒

Ready? Set? Snow! ❄️

Yet another 🙄 round of snow will move into Iowa later Friday morning and end Saturday morning. The focus for higher accumulations will be over southern and central Iowa where 1 to 3 inches will fall.

This will create slower travel times 🚗🚚 as area roadways become slick.

02/01/2021

Quiet conditions will come to an abrupt halt Wednesday night and Thursday as a potent cold front sweeps across the state. With it will come periods of rain turning to snow, strong winds, and quickly falling temperatures below freezing.

The combination of rain and quickly falling temperatures (and snow) may result in some very tricky travel conditions, making it important to stay on top of forecasts and even the Iowa Department of Transportation 511ia.org page for road conditions. #iawx
