Lakeside Park-Crestview Hills Police Department Proudly serves both cities of Lakeside Park and Crestview Hills in Northern Kentucky.

In 1968, visionaries from the city councils of Lakeside Park and Crestview Hills approached each other to discuss the possibility of establishing a joint police department. While both cities were small, they were growing and perceived the need for a professional police department. Pooling resources, they established the first Police Authority in the Commonwealth.

NOTICE: School Bus Stop Arm Law Updated in Kentucky
A new Kentucky law was placed in effect on July 15, 2026, which allows recorded images produced by camera monitoring systems on school buses to be sufficient evidence of violating KRS 189.370, "Passing stopped school or church bus prohibited". These camera systems produce recorded images upon activation of the stop arm with the time, date, and location of the school bus when the recorded images are captured. A notice of the violation can be sent by either law enforcement or the school district's agent by first-class mail to the owner of the vehicle. Pentalty is a $300 fine for 1st offense and $500 fine for the 2nd offense.

On 06/19/26 at 11:10 PM, two Lakeside Park-Crestview Hills Police Officers were involved in a use of force incident on University Circle in Crestview Hills, KY. Per Lakeside Park-Crestview Hills Police Department policy, the Kentucky State Police were notified and are handling the investigation. All inquiries should be directed to the Kentucky State Police Post 6 (Dry Ridge).

As electric bikes and scooters continue to grow in popularity, we're seeing more children and teens riding on our roadways and sidewalks. While these devices can be a fun and convenient way to travel, safety must always come first.

In Kentucky, e-bikes are regulated under the same traffic laws that apply to bicycles. Riders of e-bikes, e-scooters, and bicycles should:

• Obey all traffic signs and signals.
• Ride in the same direction as traffic.
• Yield to pedestrians at a slow and safe speed on sidewalks and shared-use paths.
• Use hand signals when turning or stopping.
• Stay alert and avoid distractions such as cell phones or headphones.
• Wear a properly fitted helmet whenever possible.
• Use lights and reflectors when riding at night.

Parents, please take time to review the rules of the road with your children before they ride. A few minutes of education can help prevent serious injuries and keep everyone safe. Remember, pedestrians always have the right-of-way, and riding responsibly helps ensure everyone can safely share our streets and sidewalks.

Below are some answers to common questions we receive about the Crestview Hills Summer Concert.

1. Can we bring a cooler?
Yes, coolers are permitted. However, outside alcohol is not permitted. Staff will be checking coolers at entrance checkpoints.

2. Will there be alcohol available to purchase?
Yes, beer and wine will be available to purchase on site.

3. Will there be food and regular drinks?
Yes, the following food trucks are expected to be at the concert on June 5: Wild Side Experience Boone Bros That’s Amore Wood Fire Pizza Mingles Cincy Smash . The four food trucks offer a variety of choices. Pop and water will be available to purchase.

4. Should I bring a chair?
We recommend bring a chair or blanket to sit on since the concert venue is on asphalt.

5. Will there be any handicap parking/restrooms available?
There will be a designated lot for handicap parking and handicap accessible port-a-lets.

6. Where do we park?
Parking spaces will be available at Thomas More University and there will be parking assistants helping to direct traffic. There are other lots in the area that will be available for parking.

7. What happens if it rains?
The event is rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, please check our page for updates on the event (this is the primary notification method for delays or cancellation).

8. How much are tickets?
Free! There is no charge for this event so come on out and join us for a great evening!

Responding to traffic crashes involving injuries or deaths is one of the toughest parts of our job… There is so much out of your control when driving.. But what you DO have control over, is wearing a seat belt. Less than two seconds...That’s all the time it takes to buckle up…. Those two seconds will give you the best chance of surviving a crash… …especially at night, when the risk of death triples… Why do we enforce seatbelt laws? It’s not about writing tickets, it’s about saving lives… Please always buckle up.
