As we approach Thanksgiving, Pack 30 scouts gave our Thankful Tom a make over with some new feathers. He started out with none at all!
We wrote what we are thankful for and glued them on. Obviously there are MANY things we are thankful for. But the one thing we want to give thanks for the most is EACH OTHER! Without each other we wouldn't be able to achieve all our scout adventures and challenges.

What are our scouts up to during the summer? Aside from some exciting local fun, they go on adventures! Weston went to Connecticut and visited one of the oldest scout camps in the US - 101 years old.

June came and went and our scouts started their summertime fun activities!
Abd because this is Florida and the heat is UNREAL - We chose bowling! Practicing focus, learning something new and being a good sport is what we learned and everyone, including parents and siblings, had lots of fun.

Last month we closed our scouting year and opened the summer fun time season! Everyone achieved their new ranks and was "crossed over". This means the scout is led across the bridge by their leader and welcomed by their peers and receives their new neckerchief to represent the new rank. We had an absolute blast at the Triple B! The weather was perfect.
Thank you, Crestview for stopping by and support your local youth! It means a lot to our boys and girls to see that their hard work is seen.

Our scouts will have a booth at the Triple B on 3/29/25?!?! What will they bring?
Camp Cards! - Discount cards for local restaurants and entertainment that are valid ALL YEAR! 🤑
Meat Sticks! - The always delicious protein snack by Country Meats in 10 FLAVORS! 😋
They will also have water 🌊, soda 🥤, juice 🧃 and other non alcoholic beverages for sale.
Last but not least, bring your kids by to talk scouting, how to get started and walk away with a FREE temporary tattoo 😎

We'd like to brag a little - many thanks to the amazing Mr. Melvin who handcrafted our trophies this year!
Also, we'd like to send special thank you the First Methodist Church of Crestview for letting us use their wonderful recreation center for our Pinewood Derby event! It made it so special because we had room for all family members to come and watch their scout race their car.

One of the most exciting events in Scouting - Pinewood Derby! It starts with a block of wood and the scouts' imagination does the rest! I only wish I had taken pictures of all the cars!
