**READING FOR EDUCATION FUNDRAISER – AUGUST 24–31**

Antioch Elementary is excited to once again partner with **Reading for Education** to raise funds for important classroom resources that help our students and teachers succeed.
This fundraiser is **100% online**—no selling, no handling money or products—and takes about 12 minutes to complete. Plus, there’s a fun prize program to keep students motivated!

Here’s how you can help:
1. Scan the QR code on the back of your child’s lanyard OR visit RFE.net and sign up using our school ID: 291695.
2. Invite family, friends, and co-workers by sending emails through the program.
3. Write the prize code (provided online) on your child’s lanyard.
4. Return the lanyard with the prize code to the Media Center the next day so your child can claim their mystery Book Buddy!

In just a few minutes, you’ll be helping Antioch earn funds for tools and materials that directly enhance your child’s education.

Free and Reduced Meal Benefits:
Reminder: Okaloosa County School District families for the 2026–2027 school year. The free and reduced-price meal eligibility from the previous school year carries over for up to 30 operating (school) days or until a new application is processed.
Important Details for 2026–2027
• Grace Period Length: 30 operating days into the new school year.
• Application Requirement: Families must submit a new application each school year to prevent meal status from reverting to paid status once the carryover window expires.
• Where to Apply: Applications can be submitted online via MySchoolApps or through the Okaloosa County School District food service portal.
