🦉✨ SOAR Program Interest Form Now Open! ✨🦉

At Walker Elementary, we want every student to have opportunities to SOAR! Our SOAR Program is designed to provide enrichment opportunities that encourage students to think critically, solve problems, collaborate with others, and extend their learning beyond the classroom.

The program focuses on developing skills such as:
⭐ Critical Thinking
⭐ Creativity
⭐ Collaboration
⭐ Problem Solving
⭐ Leadership

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Troop 30 and Pack 30 for helping our 2nd- and 3rd-grade STEM students host their first Raingutter Regatta!
As part of our STEM Club, students designed and built their own boats using plastic bottles, newspaper, plastic bags, and lots of duct tape. On February 25, Troop 30 and Pack 30 brought their amazing Raingutter Regatta track to our school, giving students the opportunity to put their creations to the test in exciting races.
The students had a fantastic time participating in this hands-on event and enjoyed discussing ways they could improve their boat designs. It was a wonderful learning experience that combined creativity, engineering, problem-solving, and fun.
We are especially grateful for the community volunteers who make learning experiences like this possible. Their time, generosity, and willingness to share their resources help create meaningful opportunities for our students to learn, explore, and grow. Thank you, Troop 30 and Pack 30, for helping make this memorable event possible!

This is a great opportunity for our future and current Owls to enjoy a story, make a craft, and stay connected with the Walker family throughout the summer.

💙🦉 On Friday, we had the honor of celebrating our Walker retirees! 🦉💙

These incredible individuals have dedicated years of service to our students, families, and school community. Their hard work, compassion, and commitment have helped shape countless lives and made Walker a better place for all.

While we will miss them greatly, we are excited for the adventures that retirement will bring. Thank you for the love, laughter, wisdom, and dedication you have poured into our school over the years.
