Summer Reading through the White House!

Children K-8th grade can earn a certificate from the White House and an America 250th themed bookmark when they finish 12 books between June 1st and September 4th.

This summer, as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s founding, we are excited to invite all children (K-8) to join in the Second Lady’s 2026 Summer Reading Challenge. Participants will read and track 12 books of their choice between June 1 and September 4. Every book counts!

FREE BOOKS FOR ALL!
May 30th 10am-2pm
North Eugene High School - 250 Silver Lane

Books are available on a first-come, first served basis, so arrive early!
Parents and guardians are welcome to choose up to 10 FREE BOOKS per student for home libraries, with a 30 books maximum limit per family. Please bring bags or wagons to transport books.
Educators and school staff may choose up to 50 FREE BOOKS for their classrooms.
Hundreds of FREE LEGO BRICK BOXES available while supplies last.
Enjoy the community resource area with local partners, family-friendly activities, and free popcorn!

Community Event: The Neurodiversity Family Support Night

The Neurodiversity Family Support Night is hosted by parents and is open to all parents/caregivers, educators, coaches, direct support professionals, and anyone else who supports children and youth in Lane County. We want to help connect, support, and empower parents across Lane County with helpful resources and information.

The next topic for this series is Pathological Demand Avoidance/Persistent Drive for Autonomy. Please register online if you plan to attend.
