District Music Contest 2026 🎵🎶🎺

Yesterday Crete HS band students had the opportunity to perform at the NSAA District Music Contest. Crete Symphonic Band performed in the morning. We had a great day of performances, and our students represented Crete High School very well!

Band Parents!
If your student is currently in 8th grade through 12th grade, they have the opportunity to participate in the 2027 Band/Choir Trip!

The Crete High School Band Choir will be heading to Orlando on May 24-28, 2027. Some highlights of the student trip will include visits to Disney and Universal theme parks and potential performances on a Disney stage.

Please plan on joining us for an informational meeting.
When: Wednesday, April 8 at 5:30 p.m. And 7:00 p.m.
Where: Crete High School Auditorium
Who: Potential traveling students and their parents/guardians
What: A representative from the travel company will be present to answer any questions and kick-off our Orlando trip

Duration: The presentation will last about 30 minutes

On Wednesday, April 1st, the Crete High School Wind Ensemble had the pleasure of performing at Bellevue East High School for the Nebraska State Bandmasters Associate (NSBA) Concert Band Festival.

The students had a great first performance as we prepare for our Spring Concert next Sunday, April 12th at 4pm. The band got to work with Dr. Wallace from SDSU after the performance before we went to lunch.

Thank you NSBA for such a great event and thank you Bellevue East for hosting!
