Officers with the Creve Coeur Police Department will be doing outdoor traffic stop training in a parking lot in the 300 block of Veterans Dr. The training will take place for most of the day. There is no threat in the area. Thank you.

This handsome young guy was found on Allyn in Creve Coeur. Please come pick him up soon at the CCPD. We will have to call Animal Control soon. He is so sweet and wants to go home.

A lost dog has been located in the Cedar Ridge area. It has been stated that the dog had been loose for a couple of days. If you know the dog's owner, please notify them that the animal will be held at the police department temporarily. We will be contacting animal control shortly to make arrangements for the dog's pickup. He is so sweet and someone must be missing him.

These are not legitimate messages from the Illinois Department of Transportation. If you receive a message, report it to the Federal Trade Commission and/or the Internet Crime Complaint Center.

The Illinois Department of Transportation scam has been prevalent for some time, and it is important to remain vigilant. Please remember to never disclose any banking information, social security number, birthdate, or other personal details in response to suspicious texts, phone calls, or postal correspondence. Additionally, it is advisable to refrain from calling any numbers provided by potentially fraudulent sources. Prioritizing your security and exercising caution is essential.
