📻✨ Happy National Radio Day! ✨📻
From the crackle of early broadcasts to the streaming age, radio has always been more than just music... it’s been a lifeline, a storyteller, and a unifier.
🎶 Country pioneers like the Carter Family and Jimmie Rodgers brought mountain ballads and railroad blues into American homes through stations like WSM in Nashville... planting the seeds of modern country music.
🎸 Those same airwaves carried the rhythms of the blues from the Mississippi Delta, which would later fuel the birth of rock ’n’ roll. Radio turned local sounds into national movements, shaping American culture from farm towns to big cities.

Today, as we celebrate , we honor the DJs, engineers, and artists who used radio to connect us, inspire us, and give voice to the songs that built our shared story.

What’s your favorite radio memory? The first song you heard on AM/FM, or the DJ who made you feel like part of the family?
